Day 1: March 21, Fri: Depart Take an overnight flight from Denver to Milan. Day 2: March 22, Sat: Arrive in Milan Arrive at Milan airport. Meet your English Speaking tour escort and driver. Board your deluxe motor coach and transfer to Venice. Stop on the way in Sirmione, by lake Garda for a nice stroll in the picturesque town center, reaching the little harbor. Continue on to Verona to see the famous Roman Arena, the city center and Romeo & Juliet's famous balcony. Transfer to Venice Mestre for hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight stay. Day 3: March 23, Sun (Easter Sunday): Venice In the morning transfer to Venice by vaporetto ferry. Meet your guide for a classic morning tour to St. Mark's square, the Basilica, the Duke Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, and the Ancient Prisons. In the afternoon take a Gondola ride and gently flow on the Venetian channels. Have dinner in Venice and take a stroll in the city center. Then transfer back to the hotel in Mestre for overnight. Day 4: March 24, Mon (Monday Easter Day): Venice - Florence Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning take your coach down to Tuscany. Arrive in Florence, meet your guide and have a half day sightseeing walking tour, including visit to the Cathedral, the Giottos' Tower and Baptister, reach Signoria Square and the picturesque Ponte Vecchio Bridge. Have dinner and spend the night in Florence. Day 5: March 25, Tue: Florence Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning take a guided visit of the Uffizi Gallery with Botticelli's masterpieces, and the Accademia Gallery displaying the famous Michelangelo's David. Spend the afternoon in the famous Buonarroti to visit the Tomb of Dante, author of the Divine Comedy and Santa Croce, the burial place of Macchiavelli and Michaelangelo. Day 6: March 26, Wed: Florence - Sorrento Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning leave for Sorrento, lunch in Ovieto. Stop in Pompeii for an afternoon guided tour of the archaeological site. Continue on to Sorrento. Transfer to your hotel and have dinner. Day 7: March 27, Thu: Sorrento / Excursion Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning have an unforgettable coach tour of the Amalfi Coast, stop in Positano and Amalfi. Drink the typical Italian Limoncello drink. Take a hydrofoil and reach Capri Island for an afternoon excursion. Take the hydrofoil from the island back to Sorrento. Have a fun PIZZA dinner in Sorrento. Day 8: March 28, Fri: Sorrento - Naples - Rome Breakfast at the hotel and leave for Rome. Stop in Naples for a sightseeing coach tour with stops in the main sights. Arrive in Rome and meet your guide for an afternoon guided tour of the famous Renaissance squares: Navona Square, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish Steps. Have dinner and spend the night in Rome. Day 9: March 29, Sat: Rome Breakfast at the hotel. Take a full day guided visit of Rome. In the morning visit the Vatican Museums and St. Peters’ Basilica. A guided walking tour around this beautiful city will be conducted in the afternoon with a stop at one of Rome's outdoor cafés. Day 10: March 30, Sun: Rome Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning reach St. Peter's to assist the Popes Angelus Blessing. Next take a guided tour of the Ancient Rome: the Coliseum, the Forums, and the Palatine Hill. Have a typical dinner at the Trastevere Restaurant. Day 11: March 31, Mon: Depart Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport in Rome for departure back to the U.S. Price of $2695 is based on 30 travelers and 3 three chaperones and includes:
