Friday, October 15th: Depart Denver* Frontier Flight F90653 at 8:25 am arrive San Francisco at 10:15 am. Shuttle to The Tuscan Hotel at Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco (double occupancy) (Picture 3) Tour the San Francisco area by Cable Car and dinner at Fisherman’s Wharf at McCormick’s Restaurant or on your own in Chinatown or one of San Francisco’s Superior Restaurants: Kokkari Estatorio, Rubicon, Greens, Delfina, LuLu or Aqua. * Ladies and Friends arriving from other destinations will have their participation fee adjusted and may make their own air arrangements or through Donna Frazer-Palmer. Saturday, October 16th: Take the San Francisco Party Bus to Napa Valley and the Wine Country. Depart hotel at 9:00 am and travel "in style" to the top three recommended Wineries in California and learn how wine is produced and sample some of their products: Artesa Vineyards and Winery with beautiful views and sweeping gardens and fountains and sample "region specific" pinot noir flights. Domaine Chandon has gorgeous grounds and a fabulous restaurant overlooking the gardens and champagne and sparking wines that are "to die for." Final stop is the newly renovated Francis Ford Coppola Winery which has spectacular architecture and one of the most beautiful stained glass windows in the world. Sip some superior cabernet or zinfandel while touring the museum that houses movie memorabilia from Coppola’s movies: the surfboard from Apocalypse Now and a tommy gun from The Godfather. Tour the vineyard and aging cellars to see how wine is produced and bottled. Sunday, October 17th: It will be "Fleet Week" in the Fisherman's Wharf area during this weekend. View performances from "The Blue Angels" flying corps and view tall ships in the harbor. Take a tour of Alcatraz, the Aquarium of the Bay or the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art or tour the shops in Ghiradelli Square. Depart Marriott at 3:00 pm for 6:15 pm departure on Frontier Airlines for our return to Denver.
