Day 1 June 12th: Overnight flight from Denver to Manchester Day 2 June 13th: Transfer to Wales. Pass through Anglesea to Caernarfon Castle and then to Conwy Castle and on to LLandudno on the Sea to stay overnight. Day 3 June 14th: Drive through the Snowdonia National Park to Betws-y-Coed the center-piece of the National Park featuring Great Britain's highest mountain. We will visit Swallow Falls - a gorgeous waterfall offering spectacular photo opportunities. Travel south through LLangollen (view its narrow gauge railroad) down through Shrewsbury to Hay-on-Wye where we will stay over-night. Wye? You ask? Because it has great antique stores and one of the largest antiquarian book collections in the world. Day 4 June 15th: Morning in Hay-on-Wye and on to Tintern Abbey, then tour the city of Bristol called the "birthplace of America". There is a refurbished harbourside area that boasts the HMS Great Britain and several science and aquatic museums. Day 5 June 16th: Stop in Wells and Glastonbury (legendary burial place of Arthur and Gueneviere) through Cornwall and along the Cornish coast through Newquay, Perranporth, St. Ives to Landsend where we will spend the night. Day 6 June 17th: Drive along the southern Cornish Coast through Plymouth to Exeter and then on to London to spend the night. Day 7 June 18th: Return Flight To Denver or 3 day extension in London for an additional $900. Your June 12-18, 2008 Explore Wales program participation fee of $2450 includes:
